Washington Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice

This notice supplements our Privacy Policy for Washington residents and describes how Burnie's Way collects, uses, shares, and protects "consumer health data" as defined under Washington's My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373).

Categories of consumer health data we collect

Depending on the services you use, we may collect information about your health conditions, medications, care needs, appointments, wellness check-ins, biometric or activity data from connected devices, and information from home safety or fall-detection equipment.

How we use consumer health data

We use consumer health data to deliver the services you or your family request — including care coordination, wellness monitoring, alerts to designated family members, and coordination with third- party providers you authorize. We do not sell consumer health data.

Sharing

We share consumer health data only with (i) the family members and authorized contacts you designate, (ii) service providers who support our operations under contract, and (iii) as required by law. A full description of recipient categories is provided in our Privacy Policy.

Your Washington rights

Washington residents have the right to (i) confirm whether we are collecting, sharing, or selling their consumer health data, (ii) access that data, (iii) withdraw consent to our collection and sharing, and (iv) request deletion of their consumer health data. To exercise these rights, email community@burniesway.com. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.
